N CALM SUMMER EVENINGS...if you are lucky—you might happen to see the starfairy frolicking through the twilight in her chevy sedan, spreading all her wishing stars across the Summer sky. She loads them full of wishes, packs them in her trunk, then takes off into the night, scattering them as she goes. ......................... They are special wishing stars, and here is how they work. They float one by one out of the trunk...gently...and then they rise up and float away. They are very light at first, but then they begin to grow, and after a few hours they become heavy and it is only then that they begin to fall. The moment they fall is when you have to make your wish, and there are some rules for making wishes:

RULE #1 - Only one wish per star. Try to be brief and don't get greedy. RULE #2 - If you tell anyone your wish it will definately not come true. RULE #3 - House pets and wild animals cannot wish. (They have their own deal.)

Sometimes a wish will get tangled up in her hair and she will get to keep it all for herself—but this rarely happens. There is a wish for every person and sooner or later she'll be passing over your neighborhood.
